Martian meteorite. Fell Oct.3, 1962.
Fine-grained pyroxene-rich basalt very similar to Shergotty, consisting of 75% pyroxene (pigeonite and augite) and 18 % plagioclase glass.

Shock stage of S5-S6.
Presence of shock-induced melt-veins with amorphous silicate-perovskite and amorphous silicate-titanite glasses.
Omphacite, stishovite, plagioclase, and akimotoite crystallized from the melt during decompression.
(Cf. Zhidong Xie et al., 2005).
