Porphyry copper-gold deposit.
Cu: 3.8 Mt @ 0.47%;
Au: 98.1 t @ 0.22 g/t
The Bolong deposit, located to the west of Duobuza deposit, has quartz sandstone of the Jurassic Quse Formation and Sewa Formation as the main host rocks. The magmatic intrusions associated with mineralization are granodiorite porphyries, which were emplaced at around 120 Ma. The core of the deposit is characterized by potassic alteration, the middle zone by sericitic alteration, and the outermost zone by chloritic alteration, with localized skarn alteration superimposed.
