Discovered in 1906 the discovery vein contained no silver, only when a depth of 80 feet was reached was silver found. The deposit was developed by three shafts the deepest being 1600 feet. The mine shut down sometime in the 1989 by Agnico Mines Ltd. Total production was about 12,000,000 oz. Ag; 200,000 lbs. Co; and 16,000 lbs. Cu.
