Minerals found in a syenite pegmatite dike exposed in a roadcut along Rv 301 (Helgeroaveien).

One of the meliphanite samples analyzed for the content of boron by Oftedal (1964) is refered to as coming from "at Nalum, near Stavern". It is probably refering to this locality.
