Mostly bertrandite is found in small vugs near or directly on the faces of altered beryl crystals, in solid red/pink microcline(?). A few exceptional crystals to a maximum of 3,5 cm have been found. On the frontpage of the magazine STEIN 32(2) (see reference list) there is a photo of a nearly 3 cm big crystal. |
