REE-bearing carbonatite complex (beforsite, sövite, syenite). Located on Etaneno 44 farm, about 10 km NE of Kalkfeld. Carbonatite complex forms a prominent hill rising to 275 m, is approx circular in outline and has a diameter of 1.4 km.

Systematic sampling for phosphate has been undertaken, 350 samples assaying up to 17.3% P₂O₅ with an average of 7% and Nb₂O₅ assaying up to 2.5%. At least 8000000 tons averaging 0.3% Nb₂O₅ may be present (Verwoerd 1967). REE and strontium are also present.
