Area with 7 abandoned mines worked on sulphide ore. Raade (1988) use the placename "Hatlestrand" writing about the find of siderotil. The mines is located in the area between Hatlestrand and Ølve.
Here in one of the mines, the Norwegian mineralcollector discovered in 1983 several sulphate minerals, among them siderotil, the first reported finding of this mineral in Norway (Ellingsen 1989).
