Hidden porphyry-style copper-(molybdenum) ore bodies with minor gold, occurring in the contact zone of a Mesozoic granodiorite porphyry with an older granodiorite.

It contains 1.4 Mt of Cu at a grade of 0.3 % and 0.11 Mt of Mo at a grade of 0.036 %. The stratigraphy in the Luoboling Cu-Mo deposit includes the upper Devonian Paleozoic sedimentary rocks of the and Quaternary Cenozoic sedimentary rocks. The main rock types in the Luoboling include Sifang granodiorite, Luoboling granodiorite porphyry, and porphyritic granodiorite. The Cu-Mo ore body is approximately 1200 m in length, with a thickness ranging from 50 to 500 m, predominantly occurring with the granodiorite porphyry and exhibiting a saddle-shaped geometry.
