Development Status: Past Producer

Approximately 220 yards (ca. 201 m) NE of New Goose Creek quarry. Now abandoned and partially filled with water.

Known for exceptional hydroxyapophyllite-(K) crystals. Meier and Kearns (2011) determined that many if not all of the northern Virginia apophyllites are uniformly near end-member hydroxyapophyllite-(K) and verified its occurrence at this locality. (Lance Kearns, personal communication, 2011).
