Name:
Originally referred to as sodium-rich dachiardite. Renamed to the current form in 1997 (Coombs, et al), as the Na-dominant member of the dachiardite series. The root name is in honor of Antonio D'Achiardi (1839–1902), Professor of Mineralogy, Universitá di Pisa, Italy, who first described dachiardite-(Ca).
The sodium-dominant member of the Dachiardite minerals of the Zeolite Group.
