For the chemical composition and relation to pyrochlore (now a generic name).
The former species kalipyrochlore described by van Wambeke (1965, 1978) is, following the new nomenclature of the pyrochlore supergroup, now classified with a new name, hydropyrochlore (Atencio et al., 2010; Christy & Atencio, 2013).
