A former Hg occurrence/mine located in the SW¼SW¼SW¼ sec. 27 & in secs. 28, 33 & 34, T7S, R1E, MDM, on the E slope of the Oak Hill, 4-5 miles S of San Jose center, on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

NOTE: The coordinates provided are taken from the topo map at the mining symbols labeled as this mine.

Mineralization is related to a serpentine-sandstone contact. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include unspecified underground openings (the topo map reflects 4 adit symbols labeled as this mine at this point).
