The Beaver Mine was originally worked between 1907 and 1940 by Beaver Consolidated Mines Ltd. The property was developed by two shafts (the deepest being 1600 feet) and 8.5 miles of drifts and crosscuts. The vein system on the Beaver property occupied an area of approx. 400 x 800 X 1600 feet and extended south into the adjacent Timiskaming property. The mine last produced in 1940, with total production from 1907-1940 being approx. 7.1 million oz. of silver and 140,000 lbs. of cobalt.
