Zlatý Chlum
Zlatý chlum, often also written Zlatý Chlum (German Goldkoppe; 891 m above sea level) is a peak in the Czech Republic located in the Zlatohorská vrchovina about 2.5 km east from the district town of Jeseník. The often mentioned height of 875 m refers to the dimension at the lookout tower. However, the actual top of the mountain is located about 200 m southeast of the tower and according to the Basic Map 1: 10000 it reaches 891.1 m above sea level.
Near the top there is a lookout tower, opened in 1899, overlooking the Jeseníky Mountains and Poland. The Mining Nature Trail leads around Zlatý chlum.
The top of the mountain and the northern half, including the lookout tower, belong cadastrally to the village of Česká Ves, the southern part falls under the village of Mikulovice, the western slope around the Tourist Spring to the town of Jeseník.

Pre-Devonian crystalline basement: orthogneisses and migmatites and Devonian regional metamorphic rocks (Variscan orogeny): quartzites, graphitic phyllites, limestones and volcanites.
The stratiform Zlatý Chlum deposit is located in the sillimanite-grade metamorphic zone.
It consists of a gold deposit in mica schists and quartzites.
Quartz/gold lenses along the foliation, quartz/gold veinlets and gold dissemination in the host-rock.
