Historical locality of well-formed, prismatic to thick-tabular magnesite crystals up to 6 cm in voids of coarse-grained magnesite.
The genesis of the Digrub deposit is very similar.

The locality is approx. 3.6 km SW of Grossreifling at approx. N47.63609 E14.69082.

The Veitscher Magnesitwerke owned in the 1950s about nine prospects ('Freischurfe') in this area, but no mines were developed.

From the "Hackenschmiede" you follow the trail S along the creek "Tamischbach". After 2 km a creek enters from W, turn W into the small canyon and follow the creek for approx. 350 m, then turn N and scramble up the steep slope until you reach a rocky ridge (magnesite occurrence).
There is a second location on the opposite side of the canyon at approx. N47.63539 E14.68991.
The best time is in late spring after the snow has melted.

Green fluorite gypsum was found in the "upper Kaswassergraben" (Knobloch & Wallenta, 2025).
