The Dagejia tourmaline granite is exposed in an area of ∼ 2 km2 on the western side of the Dajiamang Lake, where it intruded into rocks of the Linzizong volcanic succession. The rock body is bounded by faults in the north towards the Dianzhong Formation tuff and in the east towards the Dazhuka Formation conglomerate. In the southeast and west, the tourmaline granite is covered by the Dazhuka Formation conglomerate.
