Köppen climate type:
Located 8 km from the Vubachikwe mine.
At Bar 20 two distinctly different ore zones are developed, orebodies 1 and 2. Orebody 1 occurs concordantly within the enclosing metavolcanic rocks and displays banding of white chert layers which alternate with greenish-black layers of Mg siderite and fine-grained pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite. Orebody 1, therefore, is classified as a mixed sulfide-carbonate facies banded iron-formation. Orebody 2 lies stratigraphically some 120 m below orebody 1 in a quartz-feldspar tuff, which grades upward into chlorite schists. These lenses are up to 2 m long and 20 cm wide; they contain milky-white, coarse-grained vein quartz but are devoid of gold and sulfide mineral.
