Vote for your favorite mineral in #MinCup26! - Quartz vs. Asagiite
It's a classic vs a newbie as the most common named mineral in the crust Quartz is up against an exceedingly-rare sea foam-green mineral discovered just a few years ago Asagiite.

Rare element pegmatite.
Consists of a western group, main group, and eastern group of pegmatites.

The Boam deposit, a Li-bearing pegmatite, intrudes the Janggun limestone formation and consists of western, main, and eastern ore bodies. In this area, the resource quantity is approximately 70,000 tons, with an average lithium grade of 2,776 ppm, though there is high variability within the mineralized zone. This dyke has a thickness of 40 cm and intrudes the upper part of the Janggun limestone formation, striking N70°E. The limestone in proximity to the dyke underwent skarnization, exhibiting Fe-bearing mineral bands within a narrow domain. Due to extreme albitization and brecciation, internal zoning within the dyke is difficult to observe.

The lithium deposits in the Uljin area are composed of two main bodies: the Eastern orebody (EO) and the Main orebody (MO). The MO is located approximately 300 m west of the EO (129°23′22′’E, 36°90′07′’N) and exhibits a similar layered texture with EO.
