A chromite mine located on the state line between Pennsylvania and Maryland, located in both Fulton Township, Lancaster County Pennsylvania and Cecil County Maryland. The Discovery shaft located in Pennsylvania gave access to a stringer of massive granular chomite in serpentine rock. Open pit mining was conducted in the area stradling the state line, with underground working extending into Cecil Co., Maryland. Active mining ceased in 1919.

Description: Found near the numerous porphyry dykes and not uncommon in the Sacramento contact zone. Cole Shaft-1400 level, as a white-green flaky material with pyrite. Holbrook shaft-500 level, 555 drift, banded pink and green layers of platy antigorite with calcite, pyrite and hematite.
