Lead and zinc mine working on a subvolcanic hydrothermal (vein-type) Pb-Zn ore deposit hosted by Tertiary dacitic ignimbrites. 16 ore veins are known.
Started in approximately 1839. Modern exploitation started during WWII.

Note on the mineral list: The chalcophanite occurs "near Zletovo, Macedonia, in Mn veins in propylitized andesites" (Pavlovic, 1948).
