A pillar. Summit Rock is located approximately 390 meters east of Klamath County's western boundary with Douglas County. It is an andesitic plug, some 60 meters high by 200 meters in diameter.

GPS coordinates: 10T 0575214 4772131.

Note: Material originally thought to be ferrosilite turned out to be enstatite, var. bronzite
