Copper mines active in the 18th century and in the period 1866-1869.

Copper mineralisations cropping out on the right side of Cervo stream near the hamlets of Passobreve and Oneglie, including the workings named Ramoletto (Passobreve), Rimondale (Oneglie) and Casale.

The area is crossed by the Canavese tectonic line (Canavese Fault), which separates the eclogitic micaschists of the Sesia-Lanzo Zone from the basic rocks of the Ivrea-Verbano Zone. The ore-bearing quartz veins fill a grid of fractures parallel and perpendicular to the Canavese Fault, developed inside the more or less altered micaschists at the contact with andesites, in the same andesites, and also in the basic rocks of the Ivrea-Verbano Zone.

The ore mineralisation includes pyrite, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite, galena, sphalerite, tetrahedrite, bismuthinite, gold, and sporadic scheelite.
