A former medium-output underground Pb-Ag-Au-Cu-V group of mines located East-central sec. 13, T.20S. R.22E, and sec. 18, T20S, R23E, About 1½ miles SE of Tombstone, on private land. Owned at times, or in part, by the Woronoco Co., Tombstone Mining Co. and the American Smelting and Refining Co. (ASARCO).

Mineralization is largely oxidized argentiferous galena in vein-like replacements of gougy fault breccia in Cretaceous Bisbee Group beds along a strong fault zone (striking N24E, and dipping 70-80N) intersected by 'northeast' fissures. The ore zone is 243.84 meters long, 1.52 meters wide and with a depth to bottom of 167.64 meters. The wall rock of the ore shoot is intensely kaolinized. The host rock units are quartzite, shale and sandstone.

Local structures include the Tombstone Basin; post-mineralization NNE tilting. Most beds dip 45-50N. Three prominent fault fissures, N20E to N35E, with steep dips intersect smaller fissures N45E to N60E ("northeast fissures").

Workings include shafts to a depth of 167.64 meters and a total length of 1584.96 meters. Some intermittent production occurred in the early 1900's and over 40,000 tons of ore were produced from 1930 through 1954. Ore valued over $400,000 (period values) produced to 1938. Production statistics were included under the Tombstone group in ABGMT-USBM file data.
