Norwegian:
Æretveit, Iveland, Agder, Norge

In the early 1930's there were at least 5 different feldspar quarries in granite pegmatites all belonged to the land of the Æretveit Farm.

In older literature the name is spelled as "Ertveit" or Eretveit", but modern maps consistently use "Æretveit". All the specimens from these localities in the Iveland municipality mineral collection are labelled as "Æretveit".

NOTE:
The owner does not give permission to collect minerals in his quarries (2018). 18.04.2025 As of today, the owner still doesn't give permission to go into the mines. Out of fear of the risk of rock fall. Physical barriers have been set up to prevent people from going inside. Please respect this!

The coordinates are for the farmhouse, though that is not where the current owner lives (Coordinates © Kartverket - https://www.kartverket.no)
