Æretveit 1 feltspatgruve, Æretveit, Iveland, Agder, Norge
Granite pegmatite dike quarried for feldspar located at the road near the farm. It is the largest quarry in Iveland. Bjørlykke (1934) estimated that it had produced about 30 000 tons microcline by 1930.
Barth (1931) locality nr 9.
Bjørlykke (1934) locality nr 29.
Many of the monazite-(Ce) pictures that are published with only "Æretveit" as locality, are actually from this quarry/mine.
Local collector Tom Aurebekk Udø (1972-2018) extracted a considerable amount of xenotime-(Y) in the years before his much too early death.
