Located at coordinates 3455444 E/6700200 N (Finnish coordinates). "[...] This vein is a ca. 2 cm thick and exposed over a length of 3 m. Specimens from the Korsvik-1 vein consist of coarse chalcopyrite, with slightly lesser arsenopyrite, small amounts of cassiterite, sphalerite, pyrite, stannoidite and trace bornite, as well as highly variable amounts of wolframite (altered to scheelite). In a matrix of quartz, K-feldspar,chamosite, apatite, fluorite and zircon. Accessory ilmenite, rutile and magnetite are noted, chiefly as inclusions within the chamosite. Arsenopyrite typically occurs as subhedral grains within the chalcopyrite, and contains abundant sub-μm inclusions of cassiterite. Sphalerite occurs mostly as sub-100 μm grains at the margins of the chalcopyrite or bornite adjacent to the silicate gangue.
