In different places there are important outcrops of a skarn, developed in contact between Paleozoic marbles with granites and granodiorites.

As a result of this, numerous mineralizations have formed, with a great mineralogical richness (it must be said that lately they have been subjected to continued research, which has led to the discovery of different species, unknown so far in these areas).

Among the minerals found here we can mention the following: native silver, native bismuth, sulfur, argentite, arsenopyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, galena, gersdorffite, molybdenite, nickeline, pyrite, pyrrhotite, brucite, hematite, limonite, maghemite, magnetite, hydrotalcite, fluorite, azurite, calcite, hydromagnesite, malachite, siderite, aragonite, baryte, powellite, annabergite, quartz, antigorite, asbestos, chrysotile, pyrophyllite, serpentine, talc, biotite, bustamite, diopside, diallage, dypingite, hornblende, wollastonite, chrysocolla, epidote, vesuvianite, andradite, glossular and monticellite.
