Engis (Walloon: Indji) is a municipality of Wallonia, located in the province of Liège, Belgium.
The municipality consists of the following districts: Clermont-sous-Huy, Engis and Hermalle-sous-Huy.
Part of the Meuse-Vesdre lead-zinc district.
Mineralisation in Dinantian limestone.
Note on the mineral list: "According to Jedwab & Van Tassel (1977), the powder diagram of the coatings at Engis corresponds to that of hawleyite. The presence of sulphur and cadmium was checked by electronic microprobe. At the other localities cited, röntgenographic studies were not able to distinguish hawleyite or greenockite." (Hatert et al., 2002)
