There was an error dating way back to an early edition of Dana which placed this location in Berks County.

Host rocks are metagabbro and scapolite metagabbro (Precambrian).

The quarry is now preserved as part of Playwicki Farm Park, "there is an interpretive sign about the quarry and its unique Franklin Marble along the paved walking path".
