Amphibolite outcrops along the gullies on the SW slope of Pizzo Formalone, to the E of Alpe Marco inferiore.

Coordinates are provisionally set to the Pizzo Formalone mountain.

Minerals are found in white albite and prehnite veinlets crosscutting amphibolite. A peculiarity of this locality is the presence of small white, fibrous wollastonite veins embedded in thin layers of pink compact grossular (Mattioli et al., 2013).
