Minerals are found in sanidine and metamorphic carbonate ejecta.

Well-known mineral localities near San Martino al Cimino are Canepinetta, Vallalta, and Le Carcarelle (Fantappiè, 1896 and 1897; Scherillo, 1940; Stoppani & Curti, 1982).

The mineral assemblage of the sanidine ejecta includes sanidine, magnetite, biotite, titanite, quartz, vonsenite, pyroxenes, andradite, hornblende, oligoclase, zircon, apatite, afghanite, davyne, danburite, nosean, allanite-(Ce), and tourmaline.

The mineral assemblage of the metamorphic carbonate ejecta includes pyroxenes, anorthite (Zambonini, 1900), spinel, forsterite, biotite, and wollastonite.

An oxy-dravite with the empirical formula (Na0.59K0.01)Al7.26Mg1.53Fe0.17Ti0.02Cr0.01Mn0.01(Si6O18)(BO3)3(OH)3(O,OH) has been collected in 06/2012 during the excavations for a house inside the town of San Martino al Cimino close to via Umbria. The oxy-dravite occurs in paragenesis with altered pyrite, jarosite, quartz and feldspar and forms colourless to pale blue-grey prismatic crystals.
Analytical data of this find have been published on the RRUFF-page (RRUFF ID: R141094) and by Chukanov & Chervonnyi (2016).
