Located 7 km south of Poopó town.
Famous as the most abundant producer of cylindrite specimens during the first half of the 20th century, with cylinders thicker than those from the type locality. Torres et al. (2019) has a map in Figure 2 that locates the mineral deposits in the vicinity of the Poopó Deposit.
