Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Covilhã, with an area of 16.08 km².
Previously known as Bodelhão, it was a village attached to the parish of Barroca in the municipality of Fundão, until 1895 and was attached to the extinct parish of Ourondo until 1901.
From 1864 to 1890 it was attached to the parish of Barroca, in the municipality of Fundão. It was annexed to the parish of Ourondo, in the municipality of Covilhã, by decree of September 7, 1895, appearing in these conditions in the 1900 census. It was detached by decree of July 19, 1901, becoming an independent parish with the name of Bodelhão. By decree nº 15,868, of August 15, 1928, it was renamed Aldeia de S. Francisco de Assis.
The parish is also made up of the attached villages of Barroca Grande and Parada.
