Nordanstig Municipality (Nordanstigs kommun) is a municipality in Gävleborg County, east central Sweden.

The municipal seat is located in Bergsjö.

The municipality was created in 1974 when Bergsjö, Gnarp, Hassela and Harmånger were amalgamated. The name chosen for the new municipality was taken from a corresponding ecclesiastical entity, Nordanstigs kontrakt, which got this name in 1916 on the initiative of Nathan Söderblom, the archbishop of Uppsala.

Description: This entry was posted without any reference. No analysis of chondrodite has been found in publications or known among Swedish collectors so far (2016). Dravite occurs as a brown-yellowish mineral at Stakholmen, and it could be a misidentification.

Dravite, quartz and plagioclase occur as slightly less common constituents of this assemblage. In some samples, a disequilibrium texture with prismatine being rimmed by dravite is apparent In most samples, however, dravite occurs as either disparate euhedral crystals, or as anhedral, blebby inclusions in komerupine."
