Vote for your favorite mineral in #MinCup26! - Sphalerite vs. Anorthite Both zinc ore Sphalerite and calcium plagioclase feldspar Anorthite have perfect cleavage that will split cleanly if you hit them with a hammer, but only one can claim a larger split of your votes!
Jonsson (1996) says "In most of the investigated specimens, prismatine is intimately intergrown in a medium- to coarse-grained white or colourless to light tan mass mainly composed of subhedral sheaves of white enstatite, white, sheafy talc and a light brownish phlogopitic mica. Dravite, quartz and plagioclase occur as slightly less common constituents of this assemblage."
