Lomnice (German: Lanz) is a village and municipality in the Sokolov District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic.

Open pit brown coal mine active in 1983-1994, production of 12,798,000 t of coal. Eocene to Miocene sediments of Sokolov Basin.
