Porphyry gold-copper deposit.

The giant Snowfield deposit contains 34.94 Moz Au and 4.09 Blbs Cu. It is composed of a principal body (Main zone) of sheeted, E-striking quartz veins that were emplaced into arenite of the Jack Formation and the adjacent vein-absent Gold zone.
Four hydrothermal stages for Snowfield: stage 1 Cu-Au stockwork and potassic alteration, stage 2 Mo stockwork and phyllic alteration in the Snowfield Main zone, stage 3 kaolinite- and pyrophyllite-based advanced argillic alteration at the Snowfield Main zone, and stage 4 low-sulfidation-type veins and disseminated Au at the Snowfield Gold zone and Josephine Ridge.
