Referred to as "Falls of Schuylkill", by Gordon, apparently different from his "Falls of Schuylkill" given on p. 231, and in a seperate entry under the "Fairmont Park" sub-locality in Mindat.
A series of quarries at Ridge Avenue and School Lane (now called West School House Lane). There was an upper and lower quarry. An additional occurance was noted a short walk downstream, at Ridge Avenue, below Queen Lane (Indian Queen Lane?).
Mineralization in Wissahickon gneiss containing pegmatites and quartz veins.
