Synsedimentary, lens-shaped iron sulphide (pyrite) deposit with low (0.6%) Cu contents. Hosted by greenschists.
Known since medieval times, last (and unsuccessfully) active around 1921. Several adits ('Puhr-Stollen', 'Mittelalter-Stollen', 'Stollen des untersten Niveaus') SW of Bernstein (area "Grube").
