"(Coming from Loguivy-Plougras). On the N12 from Guingamp to Morlaix, take the D11 left near Keramanac'h to Plougras and Maison-Blanche a bit further south near the border with Finistère. Stibnite, boulangerite, arsenopyrite, bismuthinite, bournonite, chalcopyrite, magnetite, marcasite, pyrrhotite, rutile, and sphalerite in the areas surrounding old mines at Bodennec between the cited locality [= Maison-Blanche] and Coat ar Herno." Three different types of mineralizations are superposed:
- Disseminated sulphides (pyrite, sphalerite, galena) along a shear zone
- Stratiform pyrite orebody, with Sb-As-Zn-Pb-(Cu)
- Late remobilizations: stibnite, marcasite, melnikovite
Ore reserves: 2,6 million tons (80 grams/ton of silver)
Note: Lukas (1978) mentions a total of over 4 million tons of ore reserves, 50,000 tons of which is copper ore (1.25 to 2% copper); more than 100,000 tons of lead ore (2.9% lead); more than 100,000 tons of zinc ore (3% zinc), silver, and antimony.
