Zn, Au, Ag mine, closed in 1988. Kuroko massive sulfide deposit.
Rakkejaur is one of the bigger deposits in the so called Skellefte field. It was mined as an open pit 1965-70, mining ceased in part cause of the technical problems to get a good concentrate. "Ore" contain approx. 1 ppm Au, 45 ppm Ag, .3% Cu, 2.3% Zn, 1.6%As and 27% S - but good amounts ~17 Mio tonnes.
