Volcanogenic mercury-rich sulfide deposit.
The enrichment of Au and Ag in massive ore occurs associated with an intrusive metadolerite vein which an be traced across the ore.

Mined by Boliden Co. 1957 - 1991, mainly producing Cu, Zn, Pb, Au and Ag.
