An undergroun and opencut mine.
First commenced circa 1887.
Located in the parish of Cobar.

Multiple vein occupying fault or shear zone.

New Occidental Gold Mines NL re-opened the mine in 1938. Production began in 1943 with Cu/Au ore being trucked to the New Occidental Mine for treatment. This period of the mine operated until 1952 when it closed due to low copper prices, and increased costs.
