Western Gneiss Region of Norway. LT-UHP mantellic (> 13 km) websterite pod.
UHP diamond-bearing garnet-kyanite gneisses and derived kyanite-garnet-sillimanite-biotite-plagioclase mylonites (sinistral shear fabrics).
Microdiamonds has been found as inclusions in spinels within pyrope megacrysts in large orthopyroxene crystals in a mantle-derived peridotite lens. They were formed from infiltrating UHP-LT fluids.
