A former underground Cu-Pb-Ag-Au-Zn-Fluorspar mine located about 2½ miles west of Crown King at 6,400 to 6,500 feet of altitude. Owned by Harrington, Sweet & Nelson (1926).
Mineralization is an ore body in a chimney hosted in granodiorite cut by several long dikes of light colored porphyry with a NNE trend. Shaft disclosed an apparent chimney filled with gash veins. The orebody is perhaps 30 feet diameter. Granodiorite porphyry with phenocrysts. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation of near surface ores. Alteration included sericitization and argillization.
Area veins trend N20E, parallel to the foliation in Precambrian rocks.
Workings include a 175 foot deep shaft that connects with a 200 foot long tunnel 80 feet below the shaft collar. Produced 2 carloads of 12% ore.
