A small Mn deposit. Located near Dürnstein (near Einöd), on the slopes west of the railway line leading from Neumarkt to Friesach in Carinthia.

In the village of Dürnstein take the path opposite the church, cross the creek and then the railway, then at km 289.6, about 100m above the railway there are some rocks (garnet micaschist) indicating the locality at approx. N46.98995, E14.38505 at an elevation of approx. 780 m.
In the 1850s some prospecting was done and there may have been a bit of actual mining.
Traces of collecting activities may still be noticed as well as a short adit.
