The area features sedimentary sequences, including Quaternary sediments, sandstones, and limestones, which are intruded by intermediate-felsic plutons. These plutons consist of monzogranite in the northeastern part and granitic porphyry in the southwestern part of the target, along with subsidiary outcrops of rhyolite porphyry, dacite porphyry, andesite, minor tonalite porphyry, and dolerite. Recent exploration drilling has completed two deep boreholes: ZK96-1 (1,048.5 m) and ZK97-1 (1,139.3 m).
