A reserve south west of Mannum. The waterfalls reserve hosts a mostly pink granite. Minerals were collected in the granite, and from the bed of Reedy Creek, by the late Judy Rowe.
Locality may have previously been noted as "Tungkillo area". Mineral specimens (in granite) labelled "Mannum" had been circulating for some time, but with no real connection to a specific locality. Mannum itself only has fossil-bearing sandstone cliffs, and the nearest granite outcrops really should have been labelled as somewhere else. But when the late Judy Rowe's collection surfaced a couple of years ago, there were specimens labelled as Waterfall Reserve, Mannum. A visit there in 2024 showed that there was plenty of granite outcropping along Reedy Creek. Riddle solved!
