Hard-rock gold mine.

The mine consists of five major ore bodies, designated as the Dong ore body, the Central ore body, the Tsagaantolgoi ore body, the Tsagaantolgoi-2 ore body, and the Khurentolgoi ore body. Trench and drilling exploration of the Tsagaantolgoi ore body was conducted from 1992 to 1994, resulting in the discovery of 170,000 tons of ore (average gold grade 3.44 g/t) and 580 kg of recoverable gold reserves. The gold grade at this mine ranges from 1 to 32 g/t Au (average grade: 5 g/t Au). As of 2010, gold reserves are estimated to be approximately 18 tons.
