The Mao’antang Nb-Ta deposit is located in northern Yuechengling granitic batholith and covers an area of more than 15 km2. It is the largest and the most typical pegmatite-type Nb-Ta deposit in the district, in China it is considered as a medium size deposit. The Mao’antang deposit contains three “ore blocks” from northwest to southeast, they are Baomushan, Qinglongshui, and Mao’antang ore blocks.
